PROFILE
Matthew E. Pierce, CPA, has over 10 years of public accounting in both public and private sectors serving closely held businesses and public companies. He is proficient in audits, internal controls, financial reporting, operational efficiencies and merger and acquisitions.
In his role as Manager, Matthew is responsible for the planning and supervision of staff, with an emphasis on the not-for-profit, trade union, employee benefit and healthcare sectors. He has directed project teams on numerous audits for not-for-profit organizations in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, “Audits of States, Local Governments and Not-for-Profit Organizations.” Matthew is in compliance with all CPE requirements pertaining to yellow book and single audit services.
Prior to joining Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP, Matthew held the position as Controller for a local construction company. He started his career at KPMG, where he held the position of Senior Audit Manager.
Matthew is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
